Warehouse Stock Assistant - Northwich - £23,907

The position

  • This is a full-time, permanent position based at our customer's distribution centre in Northwich.
  • Rate of pay: £23,907 per annum
  • Weekly hours: 37.5 hours plus a 30-minute unpaid break each day
  • Shift Patterns: 5 days out of 7, shifts between 2am-10am & 12pm-8pm
  • Working Environment: Chilled

A day in the life of a Warehouse Stock Operative

As a Warehouse Stock Operative, you will work as part of a dynamic and supportive team in a fast-paced, target-driven environment to ensure the accuracy of stock entering or leaving the depot.

Activities may vary, and you may be required to work across multiple workstreams such as Goods Inbound checks, Picker Accuracy audits, and Load Adherence checks, many of which involve manual handling.

Job activities

  • Audit the inbound accuracy of supplier deliveries on the GFR program.
  • Audit picker accuracy for stock destined for stores and investigate errors.
  • Follow audit and error verification procedures consistently.
  • Maintain integrity and accuracy at all times.
  • Achieve productivity levels aligned with customer expectations.
  • Review daily targets in accordance with customer requirements.
