Warehouse Stock Assistant - Doncaster - £26,436 - NIGHTS

The position

  • This is a full-time permanent position based at our customer's distribution centre in Doncaster.
  • Rate of pay: £26,436
  • Weekly hours: 40 hours plus a daily 30-minute unpaid break.
  • Shift Patterns: Sunday-Thursday, 8.5-hour shifts between 21:00-06:30.
  • Working Environment: Ambient.
  • Full UK's Drivers Licence and own transport required.

A day in the life of a Warehouse Operative

As a Warehouse Operative, you will work as part of a dynamic and supportive team in a fast-paced, target-driven environment to ensure the accuracy of stock entering or leaving the depot.

Activities may vary, and you may be required to work across multiple workstreams such as Goods Inbound checks, Picker Accuracy audits, and Load Adherence checks, many of which involve manual handling.

Job activities

  • Audit the inbound accuracy of supplier deliveries on the GFR program.
  • Audit picker accuracy of stock destined for stores and investigate errors.
  • Adhere to audit and error verification procedures at all times.
  • Maintain integrity at all times.
  • Achieve expected productivity levels in line with customer expectations.
  • Review daily targets according to customer expectations.
