Warehouse Stock Assistant - Doncaster - £25,389

Own transport preferred

The position
  • This is a full-time permanent position based at our customer's distribution centre in Doncaster.
  • Rate of pay: £25,389 per annum.
  • Weekly hours: 37.5 hours plus a daily 30-minute unpaid break.
  • Shift Patterns: 5 days out of 7 - 8-hour shifts between 08:00-17:00.
  • Working Environment: Ambient.
A day in the life of a Warehouse Stock Assistant

As a Warehouse Stock Assistant, you will work as part of a dynamic and supportive team in a fast-paced, target-driven environment to ensure the accuracy of stock entering or leaving the depot.

Your activities may vary and could include working across multiple workstreams such as Goods Inbound checks, Picker Accuracy audits, and Load Adherence checks, many of which involve manual handling.

Job activities
  • Audit inbound accuracy of supplier deliveries on the GFR program.
  • Audit picker accuracy for stock destined for stores and investigate errors.
  • Adhere to audit and error verification procedures consistently.
  • Maintain integrity at all times.
  • Achieve productivity levels aligned with customer expectations.
  • Review daily targets to meet customer expectations.
