Warehouse Stock Assistant - Avonmouth - £25,701

Own transport preferred

The position
  • This is a full-time permanent position based at our customer's distribution centre in Avonmouth.
  • Rate of pay: £25,701 per annum.
  • Weekly hours: 37.5 hours plus a daily 30-minute unpaid break.
  • Shift Patterns: 5 days out of 7, 8-hour shifts between 08:00-17:00.
  • Working Environment: Ambient.
A day in the life of a Warehouse Stock Assistant

As a Warehouse Stock Assistant, you will work as part of a dynamic and supportive team in a fast-paced, target-driven environment to ensure the accuracy of stock entering or leaving the depot.

Activities vary, and you may be required to work across multiple workstreams such as Goods Inbound checks, Picker Accuracy audits, and Load Adherence checks, most of which involve manual handling.

Job activities
  • Audit the inbound accuracy of supplier deliveries on the GFR program.
  • Audit picker accuracy of stock destined for stores and investigate errors.
  • Adhere to audit and error verification procedures at all times.
  • Maintain integrity at all times.
  • Achieve productivity levels in line with customer expectations.
  • Review daily targets according to customer expectations.
