The position

• This is a full-time, permanent position based at our customer's distribution centre.
• Rate of pay: £23,907 per annum.
• Weekly hours: 37.5 hours plus a daily 30-minute unpaid break.
• Shift Patterns: 5 days out of 7, 8-hour shifts from 00:00-00:00.

A day in the life of a Warehouse Stock Assistant

As a Warehouse Stock Assistant, you will work as part of a dynamic and supportive team in a fast-paced, target-driven environment to ensure the stock entering or leaving the depot is accurate.

Activities may vary, requiring work across multiple streams such as Goods Inbound checks, Picker Accuracy audits, and Load Adherence checks, most of which involve manual handling.

Job activities

• Audit the inbound accuracy of supplier deliveries on the GFR program.
• Audit picker accuracy of stock destined for stores and investigate all errors.
• Adhere to agreed audit and error verification procedures at all times.
• Maintain integrity at all times.
• Achieve expected productivity levels in line with customer expectations.
• Review daily targets according to customer expectations.
