Warehouse Staff

Warehouse staff are required for ongoing work - Full training provided.

Our great client in Bognor Regis is looking for additional warehouse operatives to work on the picking line and in their goods in/out department.

Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting in various areas of the warehouse as required.
2. Being flexible to work in different parts of the warehouse according to demand.
3. Participating in a varied and interesting role with rotation within each section.
4. Learning new skills and progressing within the company.

Key duties:

• Stickering/destickering books and preparing them for dispatch.
• Picking books, scanning barcodes, packing books securely, and preparing for despatch.
• Training will be provided in all areas, including scanner use and protective packaging equipment.

Salary and hours:

Earn GBP 457.88 per week, paid weekly plus holiday pay (equivalent to GBP 23,809 annually) with opportunities for overtime.

Pay rate: GBP 12.21+ holiday pay per hour, paid weekly on Fridays.

Total paid hours per day: 7.5 hours (including one paid 30-minute break). Total weekly hours: 37.5 hours.

Overtime paid after 37.5 hours at time and a half; overtime is not compulsory.

Additional information:

• Ongoing bookings with potential for permanent employment for suitable candidates.
• Experience in warehouse/packing is advantageous but not essential.
• Training will be provided; punctuality and reliability are important.
• Must be reliable, a good team player, flexible, and able to work independently.
• Good understanding of English necessary for health and safety instructions.
• Heavy lifting involved; safety boots and hi-vis vests are required on site.

• Smoking permitted in designated outdoor areas during breaks.
• Mobile phones must be turned off during core working hours.
