Job summary

Resource Recruitment is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative to join a busy team at Ferndown Industrial Estate. The role involves receiving goods, locating stock, picking items for production, packing for despatch and basic stock control using computer systems.

Attention to detail and numeracy are essential. They are looking for candidates with warehouse or retail experience, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work either as part of a team or independently.

• Competent with using a computer.

Responsibilities

• Take receipts of goods, materials and parts into the warehouse.
• Allocate items to the correct locations.
• Pick parts for the shop floor to build products.
• Pack products for despatch.
• Use computer systems to track stock in and out.
• Keep the warehouse clean and tidy.

Job Type: Immediate start long term opportunities

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: £13.66 per hour / overtime paid at £20.49 per hour

Overtime is available at x 1.5 (£20.49 pr hour) for hours worked during the week and also some Saturday mornings

A well-established Manufacturer are currently going through a busy period and with this is seeking an additional Warehouse Operative to work in their team.

This is a busy role working within a small team helping to supply materials and goods to the manufacturing teams.

Your role will see you:

• Taking receipts of goods, materials and parts into the company
• Allocating these items away in the correct locations
• Picking parts for the shop floor requited to build their products
• Packing products ready for despatching
• Operating computers to keep track of stock coming in and stock going out
• Keeping warehouse clean and tidy
