Black Point Recruitment Ltd. is recruiting a Warehouse sorter in Northampton for on-going work with immediate start and consistent hours. This night shift runs 11:00pm to 07:30am and offers weekly pay and potential long-term or temp-to-perm roles.

You will verify goods against paperwork, handle items with care, operate a handheld scanner, and follow safety rules to keep the warehouse clean and efficient. Prior warehouse experience is required.

Responsabilidades

• Verify that goods loaded/unloaded match paperwork and are accounted for.
• Report suspicious activity and safeguard company assets.
• Store and rotate stock per procedures.
• Report damaged/missing goods to Warehouse Managers or Supervisors.
• Keep the warehouse clean, tidy and equipment well maintained.
• Follow health and safety rules when handling goods.
• Adhere to operating procedures, rules and schedules for efficient operations.
• Assist with inventory controls using a handheld scanner.
• Treat merchandise with care at all times.

We are currently recruiting a Warehouse sorter in Northampton for on-going work. Immediate start available with consistent hours. We are seeking a strong and reliable parcel sorters, with experience. Excellent written and verbal skills for a night shift 11.00pm to 07.30am. Ongoing and regular work.

Job description

• Ensuring that all goods that are loaded or unloaded match the relevant paperwork
• Taking responsibility for a company’s freight and assets by reporting any suspicious activity at work
• Storing and rotating stock according to established procedures
• Reporting any damaged or missing goods to Warehouse Managers or Supervisors
• Keeping the warehouse environment clean and tidy and maintaining equipment
• Following workplace health and safety rules when handling goods
• Ensuring efficient operations by adhering to operational procedures, rules and schedules
• Assisting with warehouse inventory controls, which typically involves using a hand-held scanner
• Treating merchandise with care and concern at all times
