Parcelforce Worldwide is recruiting for an on-site parcel operative in Newport, within the Royal Mail Group network. The role involves unloading and loading parcels, sorting for correct routes, and preparing trailers while delivering a dependable, customer-focused service.

Starting salary is £25,201 per year (£12.71 per hour), rising to £27,561 after 6 months, with the potential to earn up to £30,000 per year including overtime.

Contract: Permanent
Hours: 38 [[zworkinghours and days]], with opportunities for overtime. Typical attendance is Monday-Friday 23:54-07:30 (38 hours)

• After 6 months: £27,561 per year, £13.94 per hour
• Opportunity to earn up to £30,000 per year, (based on a 38 hour week & overtime)
• Paid weekday and weekend overtime
• Additional Allowances:-
• Monthly Non Pensionable Addition to Pay (£903.84 per year)
• Night Duty Allowance (+£2.74 per hour, applicable on hours worked between 20:00 and 06:00)

What you’ll be doing

• Unloading / Loading parcels
• Sorting parcels to correct delivery route / preparing trailer ready for the drivers / onward transport
• Providing a friendly, dependable service - whether it's a birthday gift or important business mail
