Qualifications

• Proven track record as a Supervisor in a fast paced warehouse.
• Ability to manage inbounds/outbounds on system.
• Experience in performing staff briefings.

Responsibilities

• Manage all inbounds/outbounds on system.
• Allocate resources to achieve daily tasks safely.
• Perform daily staff and health & safety briefings.
• Check deliveries and raise issues before dispatch.
• Generate and send weekly reports.
• Ensure safe loading/unloading of deliveries.

Skills

Supervisory experience in a fast paced warehouse environment

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook

Good level of written and spoken English

Good attention to detail

Ability to multi-task

Understanding of WMS

Basic understanding of SAP

About The Role

Pay Rate: £13.80/hour

Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing all inbounds/outbounds on system
• Allocate appropriate resources to achieve the daily tasks in a safe and efficient manner
• Perform daily staff briefings and H&S briefings
• Responsible for checking and signing for deliveries & collections and that any issues are raised prior to dispatching the driver
• Generates and sends weekly reports
• Ensure the safe and accurate loading/unloading of deliveries
• Be the first point of contact for all gatehouse communication
• Maintain safety zones to separate staff from MHE
• Direct support to their department manager
• The job holder agrees to carry out any other duties reasonably requested of them during the course of their employment
  
  

The Ideal Candidate

• Have a proven track record as a Supervisor in a fast paced warehouse environment
• A good level of written and spoken English
• A good eye for detail
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Ability to multi task whilst working to strict deadlines
• Good understanding of WMS
• Basic understanding of SAP
