Warehouse Shift Supervisor

Location: Elland, West Yorkshire – Continental Shifts 4 on/4 off.

At A‑SAFE, we’re looking for a Warehouse Shift Supervisor to lead a dedicated team, manage daily operations, and ensure every product is handled, packaged, and delivered safely and efficiently. Responsibilities
  • Lead and motivate your team to achieve daily targets while maintaining a positive, safety‑first culture.
  • Ensure quality and compliance by overseeing picking, packing, and labelling processes and addressing any non‑conformance issues.
  • Keep operations on track by delegating tasks, monitoring KPIs, and maintaining accurate inventory and documentation.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline processes and reduce waste.
  • Champion safety and housekeeping standards across the warehouse, ensuring a clean and organised environment at all times.
Qualifications
  • Strong experience working in a busy warehouse role, including team leadership and FLT driving.
  • Previous experience managing teams in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan, prioritise, and keep operations running smoothly.
  • A proactive, solutions‑focused approach to problem‑solving and decision‑making under pressure.
  • Good numeracy and IT skills, with experience producing routine reports.
  • GCSE Maths and English (Grade C/Level 4 or equivalent).
  • Willingness to work on a continental 4 on 4 off shift pattern (rotating days and nights).

Shift rate starts from £14.76 an hour and increases to £15.97 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may apply depending on location.
