Warehouse Shift Manager (Nightshift)

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Warehouse Shift Manager (Nightshift) to play a vital role coordinating and managing the warehouse activities on a shared user site to ensure that service standards meet customer agreed performance criteria. You will be leading a small team to deliver a safety first culture, ensuring health and safety is prioritized and performance is managed via KPIs.

Responsibilities:

• Take responsibility for managing and running a safe operation and driving a Safety First Culture with all individuals in the operation by applying and improving the Safety Standards.
• Communicate objectives & KPIs applicable to your team, ensuring that service standards are achieved to meet agreed performance targets.
• To be a 21st Century Manager leading and managing the nights warehouse operations, leading a small team of FLMs and Team Leaders.
• Act as the site responsible person for night shift, providing an escalation point for both warehouse & transport colleagues.
• Drive cost efficiencies within the warehouse operation.
• Ensure compliance to Standard Operating Procedures and manage non-conformances.

What Do We Need From You?

• Minimum of 3 years' management experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Proven experience in shared user operations.
• Strong track record of promoting and ensuring Health & Safety compliance and standards.
• Transport experience is desirable.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, with a proactive mindset and strong focus on quality.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
