Qualifications

Lineage are the world’s largest provider of temperature-controlled logistics.

In our Wisbech facility we store food for major companies in the local area.

We are currently seeking a Warehouse Shift Manager to supervise the operations and responsibilities of the warehouse team, as well as working with leadership to make sure our company and customer standards of service, quality, safety, and productivity are met.

Shift Pattern:
  • 4 on 4 off nights 19:00-07:00
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership & Engagement – Lead and motivate a team of operatives, creating a culture of accountability, teamwork, and high performance.
  • Days and Evenings Operations Management – Oversee end-to-end day and night operations including stock flow, and warehouse coordination.
  • Planning & Resource Allocation – Develop shift plans and assign duties to ensure timely and effective completion of tasks.
  • Performance Monitoring – Use the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies before they become issues.
  • Health, Safety & Compliance – Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and safety. Lead accident investigations and ensure all procedures are followed.
  • Operational Reporting – Maintain accurate shift reports and provide regular feedback to site leadership.
  • Cross-Shift Collaboration – Ensure smooth shift handovers and consistent performance across the 24-hour operation.
  • Employee Development – Conduct regular reviews and coach your team to support growth and development.
