We are looking for a Full Time Night Warehouse Shift Manager to join our team in Carlisle.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the successful delivery of warehouse operations, ensuring smooth functioning and supporting the Warehouse Operation Managers.
• Manage recruitment, induction, and training of warehouse staff.
• Conduct administrative tasks related to payroll and HR queries.
• Drive performance to meet KPIs and plan operations based on live volumes and resources.
• Ensure safety, health, environment, and quality standards are met and maintained.
• Manage direct reports, conduct wellbeing and disciplinary meetings, and collaborate with third-party agencies for resourcing.
• Review and improve operational plans, safety procedures, and training needs.
• Investigate accidents and conduct hazard assessments.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience in warehouse functions within the FMCG Distribution Industry.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Analytical mindset and flexibility to work different shifts.
• Experience working with Trade Unions is advantageous.

What We Offer:

• Competitive salary: £35,000 plus £6,000 night shift allowance.
• 40 hours per week, Tuesday to Saturday, 10:00 pm to 6:00 am.
