Job description

How will you contribute?

• Reporting to the Assistant General Manager.
• Responsible for leading, motivating, and guiding the team of Warehouse First Line Managers, Team Leaders, and Colleagues.
• Assigning tasks to ensure optimal productivity. Planning and managing operation resources to optimize the utilization of labor and equipment.
• Responsible for optimizing work tasks and reporting figures daily, identifying stock or picking/loading errors, and highlighting these to the relevant teams.
• Engage with your team and drive a positive culture where colleagues are encouraged and motivated to contribute to team performance.
• Drive clear communication between colleagues and management, as well as with support functions. Ensure regular briefings and attendance at meetings.
• Responsible for the Health & Safety of the team and ensuring tasks are carried out in line with relevant procedures.
• Promote the company and customer site culture and values, as well as driving and promoting the right behaviors within your team.
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and support for training and development to ensure the team has the right skills.
• Proactively seek continuous improvements in processes and methods of operating, and introduce best practices within the site.

• Knowledge of budgets and cost control is an advantage.
