Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a warehouse supervisor to oversee cross-department activities, ensuring a customer-focused approach and timely delivery of requirements. You will coordinate customer needs, ensure contractual obligations are met, and report on performance KPIs and financials.

The role emphasizes managing costs, P&L awareness, and maintaining safety standards in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Excellent leadership and prioritisation under pressure are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising or managing a large team in a complex, fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Understanding of key operational cost drivers and P&L or cost centre management, health & safety and continuous improvement.
• Excellent team leadership skills with the ability to develop and coach teams to ensure excellent performance.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the work activities across the departments of warehouse colleagues, whilst ensuring a customer focused approach with a responsive nature to customer requirements
• Co-ordinate customer requirements, ensuring procedural conformance, customer satisfaction and that contractual obligations are met
• Carry out the timely reporting of performance KPI and financial information, identifying trends and acting on areas for development
• Ensure the operation meets or exceeds budgeted targets set up for export operation with the use of key operational cost drivers and P&L management

What you’ll do on a typical day:
