Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc is seeking a warehouse operations leader to coordinate activities across departments and ensure a customer-focused approach to meeting requirements. You will drive KPI reporting and manage budgets, aiming to exceed export targets using cost drivers and P&L management.

The role requires experience supervising large teams in fast-paced warehouses, with strong leadership, cost awareness, and ability to handle conflicting priorities under pressure.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supervising or managing a large team in a complex, fast-paced warehouse environment.
• An understanding of key operational cost drivers and P&L or cost centre management, health & safety and continuous improvement.
• Excellent team leadership skills with the ability to develop and coach teams to ensure excellent performance.
• The ability to perform under pressure, efficiently managing conflicting priorities whilst keeping a level head.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the work activities across the departments of warehouse colleagues, whilst ensuring a customer focused approach with a responsive nature to customer requirements.
• Co-ordinate customer requirements, ensuring procedural conformance, customer satisfaction and that contractual obligations are met.
• Carry out the timely reporting of performance KPI and financial information, identifying trends and acting on areas for development.
• Ensure the operation meets or exceeds budgeted targets set up for export operation with the use of key operational cost drivers and P&L management.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
