Job Description:
Part of the Distribution Centre Management Team that provides excellent services to our stores, ensuring customers have great product availability and standards by leading a team of colleagues who feel safe and enjoy working at Tesco, while operating an efficient and compliant Warehouse Service operation.
You will be responsible for:
- Managing your team to deliver accurate end-to-end Warehouse Service routines/standards in line with the operating model.
- Supporting the supply chain process by collaborating to resolve supplier-related issues.
- Prioritising and executing seasonal, trade, and promotional events to maximise sales, with effective resource and equipment planning.
- Working with Warehouse Service Team and Shift Managers to ensure best-in-class operating procedures that meet store needs.
- Leading your team through coaching, support, and sharing best practices to meet targets and maintain efficiency.
- Ensuring accurate goods delivery to stores to improve product availability and customer satisfaction.
- Using people routines to meet colleagues' needs and providing strong leadership.
- Delivering operational routines and making customer-focused decisions.
- Collaborating with the Distribution Centre Management team and acting as a role model.
- Analyzing data to identify root causes and implementing corrective measures.
- Maintaining high standards across all warehouse operations.
- Being proactive in problem-solving and coaching colleagues in real-time across various operational areas.
- Working with the Delivery Service Team to ensure the Transport Plan is executed effectively.
- Making management-level decisions as needed for customer and Tesco interests.
- Adhering to the Business Code of Conduct and Data Protection Law with integrity and diligence.
