Role Overview: Part of the Distribution Centre Management Team, leading a team to ensure excellent service standards, operational efficiency, and a safe, supportive working environment at Tesco.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage team to deliver accurate warehouse routines aligned with operational standards.
  2. Support supply chain processes, resolving supplier issues collaboratively.
  3. Plan and execute seasonal, trade, and promotional activities to maximize sales.
  4. Collaborate with Warehouse Service Team and Shift Managers to optimize procedures.
  5. Lead, coach, and support team members to meet targets and maintain efficiency.
  6. Ensure accurate goods delivery to stores to enhance product availability and customer satisfaction.
  7. Use people routines to address team needs and provide effective leadership.
  8. Analyze data, identify root causes, and implement improvements.
  9. Maintain high operational standards across all warehouse areas.
  10. Be proactive on the floor, coaching colleagues and solving problems in real-time.
  11. Coordinate with Delivery Service Team to adhere to transport plans.
  12. Make management decisions for customer and business benefit, escalating as needed.
  13. Act with integrity, respecting business conduct and data protection laws.
