Job summary

ESPO is seeking a Warehouse Shift Supervisor at Grove Park, Enderby, near Leicester. You will actively manage core and seasonal staff on shift and work with Section Leaders to balance staffing and ensure efficient flow of goods across the warehouse.

Key requirements include NVQ2 or ILM3 equivalent, experience in a large fast-moving distribution warehouse (5,000 SKUs), and strong numeracy, communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• NVQ 2 or equivalent; ILM level 3 or equivalent accreditation preferred.
• Experience in a large, fast‑moving Distribution Warehouse (5,000 SKUs).
• Motivates staff as first line manager to achieve output and KPI targets.
• Strong verbal communication for liaising with colleague managers and staff.
• Numerate and literate; able to perform basic maths and write/ develop reports.
• Proficient with WMS, Excel and general MS Office.
• Good time management to handle peaks and shifts.

Responsibilities

• Actively manage core and seasonal staff on shift; share leadership with other Section Leaders.
• Balance staffing across all warehouse sections to meet shift objectives.
• Ensure efficient flow of product throughout the warehouse to meet targets.
