Job summary

The Best Connection is recruiting a Warehouse Runner for our client in Paddock Wood, Kent. This active role supports the picking and packing teams and helps keep the warehouse stocked, tidy and running smoothly. Training is provided, with potential progression within a busy distribution operation.

You will work 5 days out of 7 on early (08:00-18:00) or late (12:00-22:00) shifts, with benefits as you move to permanent employment after the temporary period. £14.20 per hour base pay.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or fulfilment experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn and adapt.
• Comfortable with manual handling.
• Good attention to detail with stock codes and locations.

Responsibilities

• Exchange full order trolleys for empty ones to keep packers moving.
• Move completed order trolleys to the next stage of the operation.
• Replenish packing stations with boxes, tape, and packing materials.
• Monitor stock levels at packing stations and replenish as needed.
• Assist with authorised stock movements with warehouse admin.
• Check stock codes and locations to ensure correct movement.
• Remove waste and keep work areas clean and safe.
• Keep walkways and stock locations clear and orderly.
• Report shortages, discrepancies, and safety concerns promptly.
• Provide clear handovers on outstanding tasks and stock requirements.
