Warehouse Planner

Here at GXO, we are currently looking for a Warehouse Planner to join our team in Northampton, supporting our customer, Sainsbury’s. As a Warehouse Planner, you will be responsible for controlling all aspects of warehouse planning, to aid the operation in maximising operational efficiency.

This is a full time, permanent position, working any 5 from 7 shift pattern of 07:00 till 15:00 and 10:00 till 18:00.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £29,000.04 per annum and 33 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:

1. Liaise with team managers and colleagues to act as a point of contact between them and the planning manager, supporting where possible to escalate more complex queries when necessary.
2. Responsible for the production, processing, assembly and distribution of various paperwork related to the operation plans in a timely manner.
3. Manage shift patterns and rotas and support the allocation of core and/or agency resources.
4. Build and review plans and highlight any risks while ensuring these are resolved in a timely manner.

What you need to succeed at GXO:

1. Previous experience in a tri-temp environment is highly desirable.
2. Ability to organise, plan and take ownership for your tasks and ask for support when necessary.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential and Power BI would be desirable.
4. Analyze, present, and share data with peers and stakeholders.
