Job summary

Crem Recruitment has been appointed to recruit for a key business on the outskirts of Haverhill, to assist with a busy period. This is a busy, modern warehouse facility looking for reliable Pickers & Packers to help process customer orders accurately and efficiently.

The role is based in West Wickham, approximately 10-20 minutes from Haverhill, depending on where you are based. The site is located on a rural route, with car travel recommended; cycling from Haverhill is also an option.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack products accurately in line with order specifications and quality standards.
• Work to set targets and KPIs, maintaining accuracy and efficiency throughout each shift.
• Handle products with care, ensuring all items are packed to company presentation standards.
• Load and unload containers.
• Label products ready for dispatch.
• Pack orders and prepare them for dispatch.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily performance goals and maintain high warehouse standards.

The role is based in West Wickham, approximately 10-20 minutes from Haverhill, depending on where you are based.

The site is located on a rural route, so travelling by car is recommended. However, candidates do travel from Haverhill by bicycle, so cycling is also an option for those who are comfortable with the journey.

Hours & Pay

• Full-time, temporary position
• £13.56 per hour
• 7:30am - 4:30pm
• Monday - Friday
• 1 in 3 weeks: Tuesday - Saturday

Requirements

• A reliable and consistent approach to work, with excellent timekeeping and attendance.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet productivity and accuracy targets.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Able to follow instructions clearly and work effectively as part of a team.
• Previous picking and packing experience is desirable but not essential.
• A positive attitude and willingness to get stuck in during a busy period.
