Job description

Great opportunity to work as a Warehouse Picker for one of the largest providers of fresh flowers to major supermarket chains throughout the UK.

About the Role

Staffline is recruiting Warehouse Pickers to work in Alconbury.

Transport is available from Peterborough.

Pay Rates

• Day Shift: £ per hour
• Night Shift: £ per hour

Overtime is available after working 48 hours and paid at:

• Day shift: £ per hour
• Night shift: £ per hour

Shift Patterns

Dispatch Picker:

• 4 on, 4 off shift pattern
• Shifts: Days, 7am to 7pm and Nights, 7pm to 7am

Line Supply Picker:

• 4 on, 3 off, 3 on, 4 off shift pattern
• Shifts: Days, 6am to 6pm and Nights, 6pm to 6am

Please note, shift times are subject to change to meet business requirements.

Your Responsibilities

• Working in a chilled environment (~3°C)
• Allocating stock into locations
• Moving and transferring stock to other departments
• Using handheld scanning equipment
• Working on your feet for 12 hours per day
• Manual handling of weights up to 20kg

Ideal Candidate

Must communicate and understand basic English, be hardworking, detail-oriented, and focused to minimize mistakes. Prior experience as a Picker/Warehouse Operative is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
