Job summary

Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are currently recruiting Packers to join a busy and growing team based in Kirkby-in-Ashfield. This is a physically demanding role, with a focus on packing products for dispatch and accurate order picking. You will be on your feet for long periods and must wear hi-vis and safety boots.

Hours run Monday to Thursday 7:15am–4:00pm and Friday 7:15am–1:00pm, with early finish each Friday. Pay is £12.71 per hour.

Qualifications

• Previous packing or warehouse experience is preferred.
• Strong work ethic and good attention to detail.
• Comfortable with physical work and being on your feet all day.
• Must have hi-vis and safety boots.

Responsibilities

• Pack products for dispatch.
• Pick and pack orders with high accuracy.
• Perform manual handling including lifting, bending, and carrying.
• Stand for the majority of the shift.

This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates who are reliable, hands-on, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

The Role:

• Packing products ready for dispatch
• Picking and packing orders with a high level of accuracy
• Manual handling, including lifting, bending, and carrying
• Working on your feet for the majority of the shift

Please note: this is a physically demanding role, and we want candidates to be fully aware of the nature of the work before applying.

What We’re Looking For:
