Job summary

WEL Group is seeking a reliable Order Picker to join our warehouse team in Shuttlewood. The role involves picking and packing orders, loading/unloading goods, and assisting with stock management and quality checks.

You will work with the shipping and receiving teams in a fast-paced environment and must be able to lift heavy items while maintaining accuracy and organization. Typical hours are Monday to Friday, 7am to 4pm, with opportunities to contribute to efficient packing and inventory control

Qualifications

• Experience in materials handling and stock organisation in a warehouse.
• Experience using warehouse management systems for order processing.
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures and documentation.
• Strong attention to detail for accurate order fulfilment.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick and pack items according to order specifications using warehouse management systems
• Handle materials carefully, ensuring items are packed securely for shipment
• Load and unload goods
• Assist with stock replenishment and organisation within the warehouse
• Conduct quality control checks on packed orders to ensure correctness and completeness
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of packing stations and storage areas
• Collaborate with shipping & receiving teams to coordinate dispatch schedules
• Support warehouse management system data entry for inventory tracking and order processing
