Job summary

A leading logistics company in Livingston is seeking reliable Order Pickers for their warehouse team. This full-time role offers shifts starting as early as 5am, with a pay rate of £14.68 per hour. Responsibilities include safely picking items, packaging orders, and assisting with the distribution of goods. Candidates ideally should have experience in a warehouse and the ability to work in a team or independently.

Qualifications

• Ideally have previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment.
• Capable of following both written and verbal instructions.
• Able to use picking machines and manually pick items.

Responsibilities

• Safely pick items from shelves.
• Package completed orders.
• Build pallets and move them around the warehouse.
• Assist with distribution of goods.
• Perform warehouse cleaning duties if necessary.

Join one of the area's best logistics and distribution companies! Connect Appointments are looking for reliable individuals to become Order Pickers with our clients back early warehouse team.

Working within their Bathgate facility, this is a full-time ongoing position, with shifts rota based between:

• 5am start times, with finish times circa 12pm - paid at £14.68 per hour
• 6am start times, with finish times circa 1pm/3pm - paid at £14.68 per hour

As an Order Picker, your duties will include: Using headsets, barcodes and serial numbers to locate the correct items for shipment, ensuring inventory is managed accurately. Combined with:

• Safely picking items from shelves
• Packaging completed orders
• Building pallets
• Moving pallets around the warehouse
• Assisting with the distribution of goods throughout the warehouse
• Performing warehouse cleaning duties if necessary

To be successful in this position, you will ideally have: Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment; The ability to follow both written and verbal instructions; The ability to using picking machines in warehouses and manually pick items; The ability to work on your own and as part of a team.
