Connect Appointments is seeking reliable individuals for the role of Order Picker at a leading logistics company in Bathgate. This ongoing temporary position offers hours starting from 4pm, leading to a full-time permanent contract for the right candidate. Successful applicants will be responsible for safely picking and packaging items, ensuring accurate inventory management.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment.
• Ability to use picking machines in warehouses.
• Experience working both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Safely picking items from shelves.

• Completing necessary invoicing or paperwork.
• Unloading deliveries from delivery lorries.

Join one of the area's best logistics and distribution companies! Connect Appointments are looking for reliable individuals to become Order Pickers for one of our client.

Working within their Bathgate facility, this is a 30 hours ongoing temporary role, leading to full-time permanent contract for the right candidate.

Twilight Shifts based on the rota:

• Working hours: 4pm to finish

Pay rate:

• Between 22.00 to 04.00 - £18.35 per hour
• Between 04.00 to 22.00 - £14.68 per hour

As an Order Picker, your duties will include: Using headsets, barcodes and serial numbers to locate the correct items for shipment, ensuring inventory is managed accurately. Combined with:

• Safely picking items from shelves
• Packaging completed orders
• Completing necessary invoicing or paperwork
• Unloading deliveries from delivery lorries
• Assisting with the distribution of goods throughout the warehouse
• Performing warehouse cleaning duties if necessary

To be successful in this position, you will ideally have: Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment; The ability to follow both written and verbal instructions; The ability to using picking machines in warehouses and manually pick items; The ability to work on your own and as part of a team.
