Job summary

Howdens Joinery in Hemel Hempstead is seeking a Warehouse Person to join the depot team. You will unload deliveries, verify stock, and prepare items for dispatch while upholding high health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Forklift licence is desirable.
• Strong stock control and health and safety understanding.

Responsibilities

• Unloading deliveries and checking stock accurately per safety rules.
• Daily checks on forklift trucks and equipment.
• Ensuring stock is secure and prepared for dispatch.
• Regular stock checks and precise record-keeping.
• Maintain clean, organised warehouse and rotate stock.
• Assist trade customers with professional service.
• Support deliveries, collections and general warehouse tasks.
• Collaborate with depot team to keep operations smooth.
