Job summary

Howdens Joinery is recruiting a Warehouse Person at our Erith depot to help unload deliveries, check stock and keep the warehouse tidy and safe. You'll work in a fast-paced team, focusing on accuracy and customer service for trade customers.

This hands-on role offers a 40-hour week, no evenings or Sundays, and a supportive culture with training and incentives. A forklift licence is desirable, and you will contribute to stock control and efficient dispatch.

• A valid forklift licence is desirable.
• Good understanding of stock control and health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Unloading deliveries and checking stock accurately.
• Carrying out daily checks on forklift trucks and equipment.
• Ensuring stock is secure and prepared for dispatch.
• Completing regular stock checks and maintaining records.
• Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and efficient.
• Supporting trade customers with a professional service.
• Assisting with deliveries, collections and general warehouse operations.
• Working with the depot team to keep operations running smoothly.
