Job summary

Brightwork Ltd in the Cumbernauld area is seeking a Warehouse Operative to join on an ongoing temporary basis. You will support the team with order processing, stock handling, and loading/unloading using scanners and basic lifting.

The ideal candidate has warehouse or logistics experience, is PC literate, reliable, with good attendance. Some roles may require transport due to site location and shift times.

• Previous warehouse or logistics experience.
• Familiar with handling equipment and scanners.

Responsibilities

• Manual lifting and using mechanical aids to move stock.
• Use scanners to process orders, receive stock, transfers and replenishment.
• Pick, check and complete orders for delivery.
• Receive, unload and process warehouse stock.
• Assist with inventory / cycle counts.

Our Perfect Worker

Ideal candidate will have previous experience gained within a warehouse / logistics role and be familiar with using of handling equipment and scanner guns. You will be trained on using a warehouse stock management system so applicants should be PC literate.
Proven reliability and excellent attendance record is key for this to progress on to a permanent role.
Candidates from outside of Cumbernauld may need own transport due to the shift times and location of the site.

Key Information and Benefits

Working hours:

• Mon-Thu 7:00am-3:00pm
• Fri 7:30am-4:00pm
• 39.5 hours paid
• £12.71 per hr starting rate
