Job summary

Connect Appointments is hiring Warehouse Operatives for our logistics client in Cumbernauld. This full-time temporary position offers a rotational schedule of 5 days on and 3 days off, from 12pm to 10pm, paying £12.81 per hour, with overtime at £19.22 per hour. Responsibilities include loading/unloading delivery vans, order picking, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness. Candidates should have physical strength, be team players, and be able to work in fast-paced environments. Full training is provided.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse or fast-paced environment is ideal, but not essential.
• Good physical strength and fitness.
• Excellent team-working skills.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading of delivery vans.
• Picking and transportation of customer orders.
• Ensuring that all items match the relevant paperwork.
• Reporting any damaged/missing items to Warehouse Managers/Supervisors.
• Keeping the warehouse clean and maintaining equipment.

Working as a Warehouse Operative, your responsibilities will include:

• Loading and unloading of delivery vans
• Picking and transportation of customer orders
• Ensuring that all items that are loaded/unloaded match the relevant paperwork
• Reporting any damaged/missing items to Warehouse Managers/Supervisors
• Keeping the warehouse environment clean and tidy and maintaining warehouse equipment
• Assisting with warehouse inventory controls
• General warehouse and labourer duties

To be successful

In Warehouse Operative position you will ideally have previous experience in a warehouse or other fast paced environment, although not essential as full training is provided. Combined with:

• Good physical strength and fitness
• Excellent team-working skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Great organisational and record-keeping skills
• The ability to work effectively under limited supervision
