Job Description:

We are looking for Warehouse Operators to join a busy team for our client who specialises in the production of outbound and inbound document services, in their Wymondham site.

This facility is a hub of activity, boasting advanced printing, mailing, and warehousing capabilities, essential for the efficient handling of both outbound mail and the intricate processes of inbound mail receipt, capture, validation, and document storage.

As the Warehouse Operator, your role will be integral to maintaining the flow of goods and ensuring that every item reaches its destination promptly and securely.

Main Duties:

  • Efficient loading and unloading of goods, ensuring the safe transport of items within the facility.
  • Diligent stacking and storage of goods, adhering to precise stock control guidelines.
  • Conducting thorough daily equipment checks and participating in manual loading and unloading when required.
  • Managing waste disposal, including the operation of bailing and compacting equipment, while upholding the highest standards of health and safety.

Required skills:

  • A commitment to service level agreements and a drive to achieve results.
  • Counterbalance Forklift experience and licence
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in IT, particularly MS Excel, and the physical capability to handle heavy items.
  • Desirable skills include being self-motivated, customer-focused, and possessing effective communication skills. A methodical approach, the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team, and a dedication to delivering high standards.

You will be working on a fortnightly rotating shift pattern, please only apply if you are happy to work these shifts permanently:

Week 1 – Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday. Working 7.00pm to 7.00am
Week 2 – Monday and Tuesday. Working 7.00pm to 7.00am (11 hour shifts)
