Job summary

STADA UK Thornton & Ross in Huddersfield is seeking a Warehouse Operator (Level 1) to link manufacturing with delivery, ensuring stock movements are accurate using SAP. You’ll manage materials, load/unload vehicles and support GMP-compliant warehouse operations in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in warehousing.
• A current licence/card in at least one MHE: counterbalance/flexi/PPT/scissor lifts.
• Experience using warehouse barcode scanners is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Confidently and safely operate a range of MHE/forklift trucks to move stock efficiently.
• Move and prepare finished goods from manufacturing for secure transport to 3PL storage.
• Load and unload vehicles with finished goods, raw materials and components.
• Act as a safe banksman for vehicle movements when required.
• Support wider warehouse tasks, including pallet inversion and preparing goods for entry into clean manufacturing areas.
• Ensure daily procedures align with GMP standards and company processes.

As a Warehouse Operator, you’ll be the link between our Manufacturing Department and our customers—making sure we can produce to plan and deliver on time, every time. Working with a range of material handling equipment (MHE) and forklift trucks, you’ll keep the filling lines stocked with the right components at the right moment, return finished products to the warehouse, and get them ready for shipment.

You’ll also be hands‑on with incoming materials, using SAP to control stock movements and working to strict processes, procedures and GMP standards. If you’re organised, reliable, and thrive in a busy, high‑impact role, this is where you’ll make a real difference.

How You Will Make an Impact

• Confidently and safely operate a range of MHE / forklift trucks to move stock efficiently
• Moving and preparing finished goods from manufacturing, ready for secure transport to our 3PL storage facility
• Load and unload vehicles with finished goods, raw materials and components
• Act as a safe banksman for vehicle movements when required
• Support wider warehouse tasks, including pallet inversion and preparing goods for entry into clean manufacturing areas
• Physical and operational requirements of the role include:
  • Regular manual handling, including lifting and moving pallets and other heavy items as part of daily work
  • Operating warehouse machinery and equipment
  • Regularly accessing vehicles (e.g. getting on and off trucks and working in and around vehicles)
  • Performing these tasks safely in line with company procedures; reasonable adjustments will be considered where appropriate
• Working rotational day shift pattern:
  • Mon-Thu 0600-1336 / 1330-2200
  • Fri: 0600-1336 / 1330-1730

What We Are Looking For

• Demonstrable experience in warehousing
• A current licence / card in at least one of the following MHE: counterbalance trucks, flexi truck, powered pallet truck (PPT), scissor lifts
• Experience using warehouse barcode scanners (advantageous)
