Job summary

Nu-Heat, part of the Genuit Group, is seeking a motivated warehouse operator to manage goods flow and inventory within our UK facility. You will ensure accurate handling, storage, and timely order fulfilment while maintaining health and safety standards.

The role requires experience in warehousing, a forklift license if possible, and basic IT skills for inventory systems. This position offers a competitive package and 23 days holiday with pension matching and life assurance.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred.
• Forklift license desirable.
• Basic IT skills for inventory systems and documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Physical ability to lift and move goods safely.

Responsibilities

• Receiving & Inspection: Unload deliveries and verify incoming goods against purchase orders; inspect items for damage and report discrepancies.
• Storage & Inventory Control: Organize and store products; maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems; conduct regular stock checks.
• Order Picking & Packing: Pick, pack and prepare orders for dispatch; ensure correct labelling and documentation for shipments.
• Dispatch & Loading: Load goods onto vehicles safely; coordinate with transport teams for timely deliveries.
• Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts, pallet trucks and other equipment; perform routine checks and report maintenance needs.
• Health & Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols and keep a clean, hazard-free work environment; use PPE as required.
