Job description

Warehouse Operator / FLT Operator - Temp to perm position paying up to £13.50 per hour plus benefits. Based in Yate, South Gloucestershire - Hours are 9am to 5.30pm, Mon to Fri - Benefits include 28 days holiday (rising with service), Pension, Bonus, onsite parking. Temp to perm position to start ASAP

Our client are looking for a Warehouse Operator / Forklift Driver to join them on a temp to perm position - this is a new role due to ongoing growth and expansion. Working in a busy manufacturing environment, this role will be reporting to the Manager and working as part of a small team. The successful candidate will ideally have a Reach and Counterbalance forklift licence (will accept inhouse) and have previously worked within a engineering or manufacturing environment.

Duties of the Warehouse Operator / Forklift Driver will involve:

• Unloading vehicles and booking goods in
• Putting stock away on racking
• Order picking & packing and preparing for despatch
• Goods out
• Taking part in stock checks (as and when required)

The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role and have excellent attention to detail, as well as good numeracy and literacy skills. This role will involve a mixture of forklift work to unload vehicles, as well as some handballing.
