GAC UK is looking for candidates for the role of Warehouse Operator based in Aberdeen. Could it be you?

GAC UK employs over 300 experts across more than 25 offices covering the UK, Ireland, and Gibraltar. We provide a wide range of integrated shipping, logistics, and marine services to the energy and shipping industries, as well as specialised sectors like marine leisure, sports and events, automotive, and aviation. Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out all activities to the highest standards with a proactive QHSSE approach.
  • Coordinate with logistics colleagues, warehouse staff, and clients to meet requirements via verbal and email communication.
  • Ensure all cargo is handled and stored safely.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Manage goods in, line checking, and put-away processes both physically and using our stock management system.
  • Complete pick and pack for North Sea and international freight and process through systems.
  • Pack and secure containers for shipping.
  • Operate forklift for loading/unloading transport and warehouse/yard put-away.
  • Manage communication media (emails and Teams messages) efficiently, monitoring and processing requests and queries.
Job Requirements

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
  • A good understanding of a proactive safety culture.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products.
  • Attention to detail.
  • A desire for continuous improvement.
  • Counterbalance forklift licence (training available if not possessed).

Post-training, the successful candidate will join a duty rota including evening and weekend work, as GAC UK operates 24/7 for our customers.
