GAC UK is seeking candidates for the Warehouse Operator role based in Aberdeen. Could it be you?

We provide a wide range of integrated shipping, logistics, and marine services to the energy and shipping sectors, as well as specialized sectors like marine leisure, sports and events, automotive, and aviation. Key Responsibilities
  1. Carry out all activities to the highest standards with a proactive QHSSE approach.
  2. Liaise with logistics colleagues, warehouse staff, and clients to meet requirements both verbally and via email.
  3. Handle and store cargo safely.
  4. Maintain excellent relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  5. Manage goods in, line checking, and put-away physically and using our in-house stock management system.
  6. Complete pick and pack for North Sea and international freight and process through systems.
  7. Packing and securing containers for shipping.
  8. Operate forklift for loading/unloading transport and warehouse/yard put-away.
  9. Manage communication media (emails and Teams messages) and monitor/respond to requests and queries efficiently.
Job Requirements

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • An understanding and appreciation of a proactive safety culture.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products.
  • Attention to detail.
  • A desire to continually improve.
  • Counterbalance forklift license (training can be provided).

Post-training, the successful candidate will join a duty rota involving evening and weekend shifts, as we operate 24/7 for our customers.
