Job summary

GXO Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Operative at our Finningley (DN9 3XA) site to support receiving, storing, packing and dispatching of goods efficiently and safely.

You will work on alternating shifts (06:00-14:30, 08:00-16:30, 10:30-19:00) and earn £29,724.00 per year plus £119 monthly shift allowance and £338.56 call-out payment, with 25 days leave, dental insurance, pension and more.

Qualifications

• Forklift licence preferred; training provided.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Good attention to detail.
• Good PC knowledge.
• Able to follow instructions and procedures.
• Adhere to GXO health and safety policy.

Responsibilities

• Receive deliveries and check goods against delivery notes.
• Inspect products for damage or discrepancies and report issues.
• Record stock into warehouse systems using WMS.
• Carry out stock checks and cycle counts; report shortages or variances.
• Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Complete dispatch documentation accurately.
• Ensure shipments meet customer and company requirements.
