Job Title: Part Time Warehouse Operator

Pertemps, in conjunction with our client, is recruiting a Part Time Warehouse Operator at Aberdeen Dyce.

1. Monday to Friday, 4 hours per day.

4. Ensure all incoming and outgoing parcels are processed quickly and efficiently with high levels of precision.
5. Meet all process quality and compliance standards within sometimes challenging timeframes.

Criteria:

• The post holder is responsible for ensuring that materials and shipments are processed and loaded into vehicles in a precise, safe, and time-efficient manner.
• You will be required to scan and distribute materials within the service centre in line with Global Operating Procedures, ensuring adherence to legislative health, safety, and security policies and standards.

Key Role Challenges:

• Ensuring health, safety, and security compliance at all times.
• Handling shipments carefully and precisely.
• Working within tight timeframes and deadlines.
• Demonstrating excellent teamwork to meet SLAs.

Process Responsibilities:

• Process all incoming and outgoing shipments in line with DHL compliance procedures.
• Scan and process shipments according to GSDP checkpoint guidelines.
• Complete all actions quickly and efficiently, maintaining high attention to detail.
• Manual lifting of shipments is required.
• Adhere to DHL Health & Safety, Quality, Security, and Environmental standards, including the Working Time Directive. A computer system will be used during duties.
• Plan and prepare working practices for maximum efficiency.
• Manage daily workload and seek support when needed.
• Keep the warehouse clean and tidy after each shift.
• Follow all relevant legislation and company procedures.

Safety and Security:

• Comply with country laws, regulations, and company standards regarding safety and security.
• Follow customs, import, and export procedures as applicable.
• Report any security breaches or concerns to supervisors immediately.
• Potentially undertake a Counter Terrorism Check (CTC) as required.

• Possess attributes of can-do attitude, passion, speed, and accuracy.
• Preferred: Aviation Security Training, Manual Handling, FLT certification.

Experience:

• Experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
