Job summary

DSV – Global transport and logistics is hiring a Warehouse Operator in Hounslow for a Monday–Friday shift 10:30am–7:00pm. You will support non-bonded customers, process freight on the warehouse floor and handle related admin tasks.

The role requires warehouse experience, PC literacy and good English, plus basic maths and strong teamwork. You’ll join a large, global logistics network with a focus on accuracy, safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment.
• PC literate with good written and spoken English.
• Basic mathematical skills and numerical awareness.
• Team player with reliable timekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Receive inbound freight using GXD system and WMS.
• Book in freight using GXD system and WMS.
• Process outbound freight using GXD system and WMS.
• Load and unload vehicles using forklift.
• Sort and split freight per customer SOPs.
• Manage mailbox and respond to enquiries from internal teams and customers.

Warehouse Operator

Hounslow

Monday-Friday 10.30am-7.00pm

Main Purpose of the role

DSV are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to work as part of the team to support our non bonded customers. As well as processing the freight on the warehouse floor, this role will involve some administrative tasks as well.

What will you be doing?

• Receiving of inbound freight (using GXD system & WMS)
• Booking in of freight (using GXD system & WMS)
• Processing of outbound freight (using GXD system & WMS)
• Loading and unloading of vehicles using forklift
• Sort and split freight as per customer SOP’s
• Manage the mailbox and responds to enquiries from both internal departments and customers

About You

• Have previous experience of working within a warehouse environment
• Are PC literate
• Good understanding of written and spoken English (Essential)
• Basic mathematical skills (Essential)
• Basic geographical knowledge (Desirable)
• Be a team player
• Have a a passion for excellence and commitment to be the best
• Good time keeping and attendance (Essential)
