Warehouse Operator

Bristol

Due to continued growth, YT Technologies are pleased to be working with an established technology and manufacturing company based in Bristol who are looking for an experienced Warehouse operative. This hands-on role involves receiving incoming goods, unpacking and verifying deliveries, preparing components for kitting, and packing items for shipment. You'll manage goods movements using our inventory system, operate forklifts and pallet trucks (training provided if needed), and ensure materials are stored and handled safely and efficiently

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing inventory levels for outsourced components, WIP and finished goods through regular stock checks.
  • Transferring goods between adjacent factory units.
  • Organising outside processes with sub-contract suppliers, including raising purchase orders and organising component logistics
  • Packing products to ship to customers, preparation of shipping documentation and organisation and tracking of customs
  • Carrying out final stage assemblies, inspecting components before shipping and laser marking specifications on valve components
  • Improving processes to improve efficiencies in production
  • Interacting with MRP system and capturing data to pass on to subsequent operations

Essential Requirements
  • 3 or more years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Great computer literacy
  • Adherence to Health and Safety Policies
  • Good communication skills
  • Exceptional organisation and time management skills
