Warehouse Operator
Based in Ware, Hertfordshire
Days and Nights rotational shifts
Salary: from £16.23 to £20.68 per hour (depending on the shift)

Our respected client, a global pharmaceutical company, manufactures a diverse range of products including sterile medicines, equipment, and life-saving medicines that help millions worldwide. We are seeking candidates to join our team of dedicated individuals doing meaningful work for global health.

The successful candidate will support the warehouse department and contribute to meeting operational objectives. Responsibilities include dispatching materials, picking finished packs, checking products, assembling, packing, labelling orders, material loading, and operating machinery in compliance with quality standards.

Shift details:
Rotational 12-hour shifts between days & nights across 7 days.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Operating warehouse mechanical handling equipment (MHE) such as Highracker, counterbalance, and ride-on pedestrian trucks.
• Performing safety checks on equipment to ensure safe operation.
• Maintaining an audit-ready and compliant work area in accordance with H&S policies and procedures.
• Following SOPs and acting safely and in compliance with GMP standards.
• Completing electronic and paper documentation accurately and promptly.
• Utilizing SAP systems for stock control.
• Carrying out strict cleaning activities to prevent cross-contamination.
• Staying updated with training and continuous learning requirements.

Essential requirements:

• Forklift Licence with at least 3 years of experience preferred.
• Maths and English GCSEs or equivalent.
• IT literacy and ability to use in-house computer systems (full training provided).
• Ability to use initiative and suggest improvements.
• Attention to detail and adherence to strict, compliant working procedures.

All roles are temporary with a maximum tenure of 2 years.
