At Multi-Color Corporation (MCC) Cardiff (Nantgarw, CF15 7QU), we are looking for a flexible, proactive, reliable, and collaborative Warehouse Operative preferably with experience within a production or manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will play a key role in enhancing operational efficiency, productivity, and profitability through a strong commitment to safety, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement.

Within the role, you will be expected to:

  1. Perform general warehouse duties as assigned.
  2. Accurately pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders according to schedule (Pack, Wrap, Label & Dispatch).
  3. Load courier transport & unload returns or deliveries.
  4. Participate in stock takes and stock checks.
  5. Use an in-house database system (RADIUS).
  6. Uphold high standards in quality and service delivery.
  7. Achieve departmental objectives by engaging in process improvement initiatives.
  8. Work effectively within the team and support colleagues across departments.
  9. Comply with MCC’s global safety standards.
  10. Actively participate in hazard identification and corrective actions.
  11. Support continuous safety improvements across the department and wider business.
Required Skills and Experience
  • Valid, in-date . or . accredited counterbalance forklift license (essential).
  • VNA forklift license (desirable).
  • Flexibility to work rotating shift patterns.
  • Strong performance ethic with attention to detail.
  • Numerate, articulate, and conscientious in work approach.
  • Knowledge of modern warehousing practices and systems.
  • Experience with goods in, dispatch, production delivery, and returns handling.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems, ideally Radius or equivalent.
  • Understanding of quality assurance and customer service principles.
  • Adherence to company HSE policies, procedures, and housekeeping standards.
  • Self-motivated, with a willingness to develop professionally.
  • Hands-on, dependable, and focused on delivering results.

The person chosen will be required to maintain, enhance, and develop their knowledge, skills, and aptitudes necessary to respond to changing situations. Hours of Work: 40 hours per week, operating on a 24/6 Sunday to Friday pattern. The successful candidate will work days/afternoons on a rotating basis, with hours from 6:00 am – 2:00 pm and 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm.

Salary: From £26,108 plus a 25% shift allowance.
