Job summary

Warehousingsolutions in Reading is seeking Warehouse Operatives to join our shift teams. You will be involved in receiving deliveries, checking stock, unloading goods, and keeping accurate records. The role offers days and nights, full-time or part-time hours, and weekly pay with PAYE or Self Employed options.

Overtime and Bank Holidays are paid at a higher rate. A pension/medical cover package is available and weekends may be required.

Responsibilities

• Take delivery of goods and sign delivery notes or receipts.
• Check goods for missing or damaged items.
• Unload goods by hand, with trolleys or forklift trucks.
• Stack goods in the correct place and keep records up to date.
• Carry out regular stock checks and maintain inventory records.
• Sometimes sell items to customers and assist with packing for dispatch.

Days and Nights are available.

Full and Part time work is available.

PAYE or Self Employed roles.

Paid on a weekly basis.

Weekends are available.

Starting with £19.50 hour on days and £22.50 hour on nights. Overtime and bank holidays are paid at £25.50 hour.

The Job

The Work

You could be:

• taking delivery of goods and signing the delivery notes or receipts
• checking goods for missing or damaged items
• unloading goods by hand, with trolleys or forklift trucks
• stacking goods in the correct place
• keeping records of goods, normally on a computer
• carrying out stock control on a regular basis
• sometimes selling items to customers
• picking, weighing or packing goods that have to be sent out
• keeping the work areas clean and tidy.
