Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd are recruiting on behalf of an industry-leading client in the Doncaster area for multiple Warehouse Operatives. This is an ongoing position with shifts on weekends, starting 9th October. Work is in-person at the warehouse with PPE required before starting.

Permanent opportunities may arise for the right candidates. Role involves sorting parcels, using scanners and conveyors, loading/unloading vehicles and maintaining a safe, efficient workspace while meeting deadlines as

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, logistics or parcel-sorting experience is preferred but not essential.
• Be comfortable standing for extended periods.
• Be able to lift packages of varying weights.
• Be capable of working in a fast-paced environment and adhering to shifts.

Responsibilities

• Sort and organise incoming parcels accurately and efficiently.
• Use conveyor belts, scanners and other warehouse equipment.
• Label and categorise parcels correctly.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles.
• Identify and report damaged parcels.
• Work as part of a team to meet deadlines.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• Follow all health, safety and security procedures.

We are looking for multiple Warehouse Operatives to join the team.

KEY DETAILS

Location: DN9
Start Date: 9TH OCTOBER

Shifts: Weekends Midnight until Finish

Job Type: Full-time / Part-time / Temp to Perm
Permanent Positions: Available for the right candidates
PPE: Required before starting
Work Location: In person

THE ROLE

As a Warehouse Operative, your responsibilities will include:

• Sorting and organising incoming parcels accurately and efficiently
• Using conveyor belts, scanners and other warehouse equipment
• Correctly labelling and categorising parcels
• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
• Identifying and reporting damaged parcels
• Working as part of a team to meet deadlines
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
• Following all company health, safety and security procedures

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Previous warehouse, logistics or parcel-sorting experience is preferred but not essential.

You will need to:

• Be comfortable working on your feet for extended periods
• Be able to lift packages of varying weights
• Have good attention to detail
• Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Be reliable and committed to your shifts
• Be able to work nights, including weekends
• Have reliable transport to and from the warehouse
