Job summary

Warehousingsolutions in Birmingham is seeking a warehouse operative. You will handle goods on delivery, inspect items, unload with trolleys or forklift, and manage stock and records. You may assist customers and prepare orders for dispatch in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Taking delivery of goods and signing delivery notes or receipts.
• Checking goods for missing or damaged items.
• Unloading goods by hand, with trolleys or forklift trucks.
• Stacking goods in the correct place.
• Keeping records of goods, normally on a computer.
• Carrying out stock control on a regular basis.
• Sometimes selling items to customers.
• Picking, weighing or packing goods that have to be sent out.
• Keeping the work areas clean and tidy.

The Offer

Location: Birmingham

Days and Nights are available.

Full and Part time work is available.

PAYE or Self Employed roles.

Paid on a weekly basis.

Weekends are available.

Starting with £19.50 hour on days and £22.50 hour on nights. Overtime and bank holidays are paid at £25.50 hour.

The Job
