Barker Ross Group is hiring a Warehouse Operative for the AM shift in Corby (NN17). The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm, with a pay rate of £12.71 per hour. Start date is immediate and duties include packing, order preparation, and general warehouse tasks near chilled storage.

A reliable work ethic and ability to work in a slightly chilly environment are valued. The position offers regular hours, ongoing work, a supportive team and training where required.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse/picking/packing is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Pack products accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare goods for dispatch and ensure orders are complete.
• Pick and move stock around the warehouse as needed.
• Check products and packaging for quality standards.
• Label and prepare goods for delivery.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and organised work area.
• Follow company procedures and health and safety guidelines.
• Work as part of a team to hit daily targets.
• Carry out general warehouse duties as required.

About the Role

We are looking for reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operatives to join our team in Corby on a full-time basis. This is an AM warehouse role, with the main duties focused on packing, preparing orders and general warehouse operations. The role is based next to the chilled storage area. This is not a freezer role - the warehouse itself is not cold, although the area can be slightly chilly due to its proximity to the fridges. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for stable Monday to Friday hours, an immediate start and consistent work.

Key Responsibilities

• Packing products accurately and efficiently.
• Preparing goods for dispatch and ensuring orders are completed correctly.
• Picking and moving stock around the warehouse as required.
• Checking products and packaging to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Labelling and preparing goods for delivery.
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised working area.
• Following company procedures and health and safety guidelines.
• Working as part of a team to meet daily targets.
• Carrying out general warehouse duties as required.

Skills & Experience

• Previous warehouse or packing experience is preferred but not essential.
• Good attention to detail.
