Job summary

Warehousing Solutions Ltd is hiring Stockroom Controllers in London to start quickly this month. Roles cover central, North, North East and South London and Heathrow area.

Full-time positions are 45 hours per week with substantial overtime; part-time roles up to 20 hours are also available. You will be handling deliveries, checking goods, unloading, stacking, keeping stock records, and may be involved in stock control and occasional customer sales.

Qualifications

• Experience in stock control and goods receipt.
• Able to operate forklifts and unload goods safely.
• Diligent records keeping and inventory checks.
• Willing to work 45 hours plus overtime.

Responsibilities

• Take delivery of goods and sign delivery notes.
• Check goods for damage or missing items.
• Unload goods by hand, with trolleys or forklift trucks.
• Stack goods in correct locations.
• Keep records on computer and manage stock control.
• Assist customers with orders and pick/pack items.
• Maintain clean and tidy work areas.

Job description

Stockroom Controllers wanted for a quick start this month in London.

We have positions covering central, North, North East and South London and also Heathrow area.

Full time available 45 hours + week ( lots of overtime available)

Part time up to 20 hours per week

Starting with £18.60 hour on days, £23.50 hour on nights and £28.50 for overtime and any bank holidays that you work

PAYE or Self-Employed roles.

Paid each week on Friday or we can pay you on a monthly basis.

The Work

You could be:

• taking delivery of goods and signing the delivery notes or receipts
• checking goods for missing or damaged items
• unloading goods by hand, with trolleys or forklift trucks
• stacking goods in the correct place
• keeping records of goods, normally on a computer
• carrying out stock control on a regular basis
• sometimes selling items to customers
• picking, weighing or packing goods that have to be sent out
• keeping the work areas clean and tidy.
