Job summary

Pertemps Bond is seeking Forklift Drivers in the Exeter area for roles in warehouse, distribution and manufacturing environments. Various shift patterns with pay from £13 per hour, weekly pay, and opportunities for permanent roles.

Ideal candidates will hold Counterbalance and/or Reach Truck licences, have warehouse experience, and be safety-conscious with attention to detail. This role offers full-time and temporary assignments with ongoing consultant support.

Qualifications

• Reliable, punctual and hardworking are essential.
• Counterbalance and/or Reach Truck licences are required.
• Experience in warehouse, logistics or manufacturing environments preferred.
• Safety-conscious with good attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team; flexible to shift patterns.

Responsibilities

• Operating Counterbalance and/or Reach Trucks.
• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
• Moving stock throughout warehouse and production areas.
• Booking stock in and out of storage locations.
• Picking and preparing orders for dispatch.
• Carrying out routine equipment checks.
• Maintaining a safe and organised working environment.
• Following all health and safety procedures.

We are currently recruiting for Forklift Drivers to join a range of established clients across the Exeter area. Opportunities are available within busy warehouse, distribution, and manufacturing environments, with both temporary and ongoing assignments on offer.

The Role

As a Forklift Driver, you will play a key role in ensuring goods and materials are moved safely and efficiently while supporting the day-to-day operation of the warehouse or production facility.

Key responsibilities may include:

• Operating Counterbalance and/or Reach Trucks
• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
• Moving stock throughout warehouse and production areas
• Booking stock in and out of storage locations
• Picking and preparing orders for dispatch
• Carrying out routine equipment checks
• Maintaining a safe and organised working environment
• Following all health and safety procedures

Roles may vary depending on the client and assignment.

About You

We're looking for candidates who are:

• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
• Hold a valid Counterbalance and/or Reach Truck licence
• Experienced in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment
• Safety-conscious with good attention to detailAble to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexible to work a variety of shift patterns where required

Additional forklift licences and warehouse experience are advantageous but not essential for all positions.
